Crisanta will be starting her PGY-1 of Internal Medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. She previously obtained a degree in Bio-Medical Sciences at the University of Guelph and received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St.Kitts. Crisanta has a passion for teaching and mentoring fellow medical trainee’s and TA’d many courses while in medical school including human anatomy, microbiology, and genetics. Since graduating last year, she has continued teaching and mentoring through the Heal Clinical Education Network and writes USMLE Step 2 board review questions for the True Learn Q-bank. Crisanta plans on going into an endocrinology fellowship and becoming wound care certified. Crisanta is apart of the mental health committee.
