Phavalan is a current vascular neurology fellow at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He was formerly the adult neurology co-chief resident at the University of Toronto. His main research interests include personalized medicine in stroke and is currently working on grant-funded research in pharmacogenomics and stroke. He has a passion for teaching and mentorship and hopes to help the next generation of Tamil physicians through his work with TaRMS.
