About Piranavi

Hi there! I’m a recent international medical graduate of Saint James School of Medicine and incoming PGY-1 at the University of Saskatchewan’s Pediatric Program, and interested in social pediatrics, emergency medicine, climate health, and global health advocacy. Fun fact, the most interesting place I’ve visited is Colombia (not Columbia!) – The grit and strength the local people showed me through their conversations, architecture, outlook on their past/history, and display of perseverance throughout their cities was a very relatable experience. Being born into civil unrest back home, Colombia’s history and people hit home.

During my time with TARMS I hope to bridge my continued learning in medicine and graphic design, with mentorship for the Tamil community by sharing and building on my experiences as an IMG and lifelong learner.
